Korea Immigration Service (KIS), Ministry of Justice participated in the Korea – Thailand Immigration Working Level Conference* held on 20 June 2018 and a joint meeting with the Thai Immigration Bureau/Ministry of Labour held the next day, which both took place in Thailand to devise solutions to response to an exponential increase of illegal Thai residents in Korea – a 57% YOY increase as of May 2018.
